These excerpts from a photo project mirror the content I like to build, paint, and draw. The tens of thousands of images in my camera roll bolster this fact too. The work layers sharp architectural masses and directs the viewer’s eye through the scene where organic figures appear by chance. My photography resists the control found in studio-based photography. I like my subject matter to be found in brief moments where the balanced composition of the image is almost surprising to me. I enjoy saturated colors and and inviting textures.
